The jobs linked to higher sperm counts

Fertility, sperm counts and testosterone have been declining precipitately around the world. Recent studies suggest that the type jobs men have and their amount of (strenuous) exercise are major factors. In other words, men who have sedentary jobs and/or don't exercise much have lower levels and men who do have higher.

I've been involved in sports most my life (football in high school and college, wrestling in hs, MMA since a little kid), jog daily and hit the gym three/four times a week. The last I checked I'm awash in testosterone and sperm.* Within a few months after losing my cherry I was a teenage father. Either a testament to my physical health or carelessness, i.e., stupidity.

Any thoughts? Does your experience back this up or not?

* Of course, there a debits for participating in contact sports like football, wrestling MMA: back pains and mobility issues from sports injuries, and problems stemming from concussions: occasional spells of dizziness, loss of balance, memory loss and impotence (ED). I loved every minute in sports but, frankly, I'm glad my son passed up sports, except for youth soccer.

There is a lot of environmental estrogen also. In large cities where water is recycled - like London, the estrogen is in the beer. It can’t be removed from food and generally men have more female hormones blocking T

Getting older (60+ now) I notice I'm hornier with easier and harder erections when I bike at least twice a week. And I mean serious speed for 50 miles or more. Exercise like this you have to start young and maintain so your circulatory system stays healthy. How well your dick works is a proxy for the condition of your cardiovascular system.

I biked commuting to work for a couple years (14mi round trip). Even with a couple different ergonometric seats for males I ended up damaging my perineum. Granted I have a skinny butt and above average package to it was hard to avoid excessively loading the perineum. It results in trouble with urination (stopping, starting, inability to hold it) and premature ejaculation. I got worse and worse for about 6 months before realizing it was the cycling. After stopping it took over a decade to fully heal and regain control.

That said I agree that your erection hardness is directly related to vascular health. If vascular issues cause ED you have more serious issues than ED.

False working out ages you faster as you kill millions of cells when you "work out" at a gym like a slave... lifting man made weights
since it's anti natural to "lift man made weights" it ages you faster if you want to we can also get into the garbage body builders eat to get a heart attack at 30-40yo...

I'm a vegan wannabe. . . or a peripatetic flexatarian. . . For many years I maintained a strict vegetarian/vegan diet but now eat fish fairly regularly and meat occasionally. Other than the sports injuries and effects mentioned in the footnote, I'm in perfect health. I've never taken sports enhancing drugs or steroids, and only occasional use of recreational drugs when younger, primarily at parties or during sex.

you only prove the problem and you wonder why you get "sports injuries"
still... that means your body is weak

I don't wonder why I got "sports injuries". . . when a 250-300 pound defensive lineman or linebacker crashes into you. . . when you're flipped by a wrestler and the back of your skull hits the mat. . . when a MMA fighter kicks or knees you in the head and then jumps on and sends a flurry of punches to your head. . . bad things happen. Plus, unfortunately, my bones aren't that thick for a guy of my size and build. . .

Most of my problems -- occasional but recurring dizziness, loss of balance, memory loss and impotence (ED) -- resulted from repeated concussions, not from dietary insufficiency. I'd be in worse shape if my wife hadn't demanded I quit MMA.

But thanks for your concern.

so you are the gold standard for a modern Grade A slave... i'm sure you meet the definition of stupidity as well

I'm always glad to be called Grade A and the gold standard for something, and I'll always admit to being a dumb jock (or dumb ass, for that matter) -- not the sharpest knife in the drawer -- but I did think I turned the corner a bit the last two years of college. But you're probably right; my wife would undoubtedly agree with you. She's much smarter than me.

But, no problem, I'd much rather be kind than bright.
