Guys -

If you're under 18, I'm really sorry, but for legal reasons, I have to ask you to leave. I've been told by an attorney that I need to protect the LPSG by not allowing minors into the group.

Unfortunately, this is a result of the current political climate in the U.S. - I hope it changes soon.

Thanks for helping to make this a fun place to visit. I hope you understand. :'(

You might have missed that the description now says "For Guys 18-21 Years Old". Eventually I may go through and delete postings from anyone obviously under 18.

LOL, Mark! First they force you to make the youth disappear then their postings quickly follow. How Orwellian!

Don't you just hate it when the government acts so anal and p.c.? Gawd what a bland, uninteresting world we are forced to live in.

Even worse, they are forcing youth who really need the help here to lie about their age!

Mark....

This has been a tough decision, but obviously the correct one. Indeed, it is too bad this had to be.

It's been said by a few; particularly from the older among our members like myself, but here goes again. One of the reasons I stay here at all is to help guide and offer advice--particularly for the younger members.

I intend to still keep the younger in mind in my responses from time to time. I may even make a reference in saying something like "if I had known this when I was younger" or "maybe this is a word of help to someone new at this" etc..

No doubt, we will have many a younger "lurker" still in our readership. Their need to know (and learn) won't change with our new adult site guidelines. Shoot, for that matter, if I were young, I would find a way myself to "sneak in here"--whether I could participate or not. The LPSG is much too interesting to just give up! I just loathe the fact the younger can't now ask direct questions or contribute their ideas. Some of us older members have stayed in touch with the times through them as well! (I know I have learned from them upon occasion.) Their's is not an easy world these days.

I remain grateful, Mark for this forum and its very existence! You are to be commended for having kept the LPSG going and making the wonderful advances overall in design, layout, and keeping up as well with the technolological demands (i.e. improved server and other matters.)

Your efforts "behind the scenes" are appreciated by many of us! We don't always tell you (or, Mindseye for that matter for all his skill and wisdom!). Thanks. ;)

Finedessert: I agree with Benderten he about sums it up. Mark has to cover his ass, and we can't blame him for that.

In the time I've been coming onto the LPSG Board I don't think I've seen anything ( with the exception of a couple of posters that have sence been banned) that I wouldn't want my Mother to read (if she were alive). With what the kids see and hear on MTV, and in the movies these days this board is a cake walk.

Now if you want to see what's being talked about on other sites just take a look at these sites.

And as far as I can tell there are no age restrictions.

Another way than the Under 18 contingent can still communicate with us is the IM box. I have received numerous IM's from the younger guys, and if they're still registered, they can send us personal messages without ever posting on the board. I'm not looking for a way to sidestep the new rule, mind you; I've just been informed by one of the younger guys that this is still an option!

DirkDiggler: While I can understand why it has to be done because of pressure from the 'silient majority' it seems a little harsh this could hardly be called a pornographic website and i dont see that id does anyone any harm,in fact it probably does a lot of good.I am sure that they will set up a yahoo group anyway, not a lot anyone can do to stop them from doing that if they wanted.

ORCABOMBER: Still Dirk, at the same time, what if one of those "religous" nuts or over anxious people sees this board? Or accuses their child of meeting perverts etc "flashing their dicks" through here?

Personally, I'll miss the juniors like Mr17yearold and all the other young uns. I mean, we're very good self-regulating, but I can understand why Mark has to do this.
