Excellent advice for the content producers, but I think it could be extended to the commenters on this board as well.
I see no reason why the performers should have to put up with some of the disgusting vitriol people come out with on here – I'm sure I'm only seeing a tiny fraction of what is said because I can't bear to read most of it myself, and I'm not even the one it's targeted at. But is it any surprise the performers sometimes lose their cool in response to the shit they have to face?
This is a business, and these performers are selling you a product. If the product is not as advertised or not delivered at all, then by all means ask to see the manager. And if the product is not to your taste, then just move on and try someone else's product. But nothing justifies harassing, demeaning, insulting and attacking the salesperson. You wouldn't get away with it in a supermarket or on a city bus, so you shouldn't expect to get away with it just because the product is porn.
It's the simple, basic "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" principle. If all you do is complain and berate and insult, how exactly is that going to encourage the performers to give you want you want? Have some bloody decorum and some respect, understand that humans have boundaries which strangers are not welcome to cross, and follow the golden rule – do as you would be done by. That applies to both sides of this transaction equally.
