I was once told by an ex-girlfriend that there are three types of guys:
1. The kind that every girl wants to be friends with
2. The kind that every girl wants to bone
3. The kind of guy that every girl wants to fall in love with (the category I hopelessly fall into)
This isn't exactly the nice guys finish last thread. I don't intend to go there. And I certainly have no problem overall with being behind door number 3. It's as much the kind of relationship I seek as it is the kind I attract. What I seem to have a problem with is how difficult it is for me to have a casual hookup with a girl. It's nigh impossible without the girl becoming attached in some way. Furthermore, I don't really know how to go about playing the whole "pick up" game. But I won't make that your problem. My first question to the ladies of LPSG is this: Is it possible to move between the doors? Any suggestions on how guys like myself can be a little more casual in how they approach relationships with women?
