When I hear songs like this, as well as Cyndi and Tina and Bowie above on this page, I find myself guilty of thinking that songwriting reached its peak in the 80s and has gone downhill ever since. I think that Sinead and Nirvana are awesome too, but even they started in the 80''s as well. But of course I am biased, as I'm in my forties ,lol.
