This is a favorite song of mine. Does anybody know who sings this or how old it is?
OR have an english translation? The text of the lyrics are in Volga Tatar on top; (what the song is sang in), bottom is Turkish.

It is about the fate of the Khan of Kazan. When the Kazan Khanate, which was a Tatar Turkic state, was defeated by the Muscovites. What was that Khanate is now part of Russia.
