Hi Everyone!
As many of you know I recently became owner of LPSG. As new owner I'm diving into the site and reviewing each section for improvements. One thing that is very apparent is the need to update the Terms of Service. It is going to take some time for this to happen but in the meantime I've come up with a new rule that applies specifically to this section of the site.
New Rule As of March 25, 2019
No Posting of Personal Information Allowed!
What does this mean? Don't reveal information about a performer that isn't common knowledge. If a person has a stage name and their real name isn't commonly known please do not post it here. Don't post where they work. Don't post where they live.
This rule is about having some decency. If you aren't sure whether it's ok to post it then you probably shouldn't post it.
How did this rule come about? We've had a number of performers contact us that their job, relationship or safety was at risk when their personal information is posted. I don't want LPSG to be the reason someone loses their job, their partner or their lives. This is not what LPSG is about. Please respect this.
Note... if a performer goes by their real name then it is ok to post that real name. This rule only applies when performers have a stage name.
