Hi Everyone!

As many of you know I recently became owner of LPSG. As new owner I'm diving into the site and reviewing each section for improvements. One thing that is very apparent is the need to update the Terms of Service. It is going to take some time for this to happen but in the meantime I've come up with a new rule that applies specifically to this section of the site.

New Rule As of March 25, 2019
No Posting of Personal Information Allowed!

What does this mean? Don't reveal information about a performer that isn't common knowledge. If a person has a stage name and their real name isn't commonly known please do not post it here. Don't post where they work. Don't post where they live.

This rule is about having some decency. If you aren't sure whether it's ok to post it then you probably shouldn't post it.

How did this rule come about? We've had a number of performers contact us that their job, relationship or safety was at risk when their personal information is posted. I don't want LPSG to be the reason someone loses their job, their partner or their lives. This is not what LPSG is about. Please respect this.

Note... if a performer goes by their real name then it is ok to post that real name. This rule only applies when performers have a stage name.

Here is an example. We recently had a thread where someone posted a gay performer's real name then another user posted a link to the Public Data Digger on that performer. That is absolutely uncalled for. It adds no value to anyone and is just wrong.

Thank you! I also find it very creepy, obsessive and indecent when people post personal informations here. The problem is many people think it's okay to suddenly contact these performers in their private accounts, sometimes even sending thirsty comments and giving unwanted attention.

When I joined, it asked for my name...
I was thinking for admin purposes, so I typed it in. I thought there would be a spot to create a site name. ( I'm not tech savvy at all! )
I messaged the (past ) owner and all staff members listed for help changing it.
One mod answered and she said that the owner had to help me.
Thankfully, the day that Mr. LPSG took over it was fixed in a heartbeat!
I unwittingly opened myself to the trouble mentioned in this thread. I hope that people are smarter than me and don't give personal information! :)

This is good. I personally know a few performers who have had hell because of their personal information being shared. These guys are nice enough to perform or show off why go to the trouble to post their personal stuff and but their world through hell. I very much agree with this.

Absolutely!!!

Yet your verification photo remains.... maybe not all that concerned to have a photo of your penis with your real name?

I've thought about that. Thanks for reminding me. I will ask Mr. LPSG what I can do about correcting that! :)

Also seeing as this is the celebrities/models section, can you make sure or appoint a moderator to make sure that the countless threads people post of gay pornstars here get moved to the porn section instead of staying here.

This is particularly needed in the adult sections of LPSG.

If you have a performer's real name you can easily find their address, job information and social media. It puts them in danger. I know of several performers whose upset fans sent their video information to family and employers. People have shown up at the home.

I have the album set to only viewable by me. Don't know whether that actually works.
