WARNING:Gay-torrents.net Compromised

I hate this. It's the only site that's not invite only and where you're expected to seed a lot. I need a better site 😭
I love their site. I seed so much to the point where I don't even think about seeding because my ratio is like above 2.0 while gaytor.rent site I have a harder time to seed.

Dammit. Thank you for putting that out there. That landing page looks pretty official, but I couldn't find any documentation. I hope they get back soon. Reminds me too much of Guys with iPhones. Here one day, gone the next.
GT has been around since 2003... i don't represent them but i think this is just a hijack... it happens sometimes it could take a couple of days a week to fix... assuming its not something that GT guys allowed to happen either selling the URL and shutting down the site or something... although as far as i know there was no announcement that they were shutting down

This is from the site administrator:
What we now know:

Yesterday, the gay-torrents.net domain DNS servers were renamed/redirected without our authorisation. This manifested to our members by people gradually being unable to log-in, view the site, view images, and then, these changes prevented communication with the tracker.

The site databases have not been compromised, and the site and tracker are still functioning as normal, though as the DNS changes have made most peers are unable to see the torrent content, connect, seed/leech, we have temporarily prevented access to the torrent index.

We are currently waiting on the domain registrars to restore the correct DNS servers - they have been aware of the problem for some time.

As to how this affects you:

It is important that all members use effective anti-virus and other browser-related protection technologies. As is common in this situation, the domain hijackers have been attempting to phish log-in details as people try to log in. This might involve being sent to other porn/spam sites, or being directed to a blank page. We must assume that some of their attempts have been successful.

If you have been directed to these places before logging in, or been given AV or browser warnings preventing you from doing so, you should be reassured.

If you have successfully logged in to gay-torrents.net and then been transferred to other sites (instead of ours), and you do not have AV or other system protection, did not receive any warnings, you should consider changing your password once we can confirm the site domain ownership has been fully restored.

We apologise for this disruption, which has clearly been beyond our control.
