Wearing Boxer Shorts With Jeans

Back in the day I was a professional dancer and as such pulled up and tight in a dance belt was the only way to go. Your bits sticking out considered bad form and for sure the damage to your undercarriage in dance can be painful.
The result is I generally wear briefs or boxer briefs. However, I also go commando and wear all sorts of different styles of underwear invluding boxer shorts, just depends what seems most appropriate and comfortable for the circumstances.
One thing I cant understand is how guys wear boxer shorts with denim jeans. I've tried it and felt I might castrate myself. At very best very uncomfortable and a lot of bunching.
Does anyone wear that combo? How comfortable or not is it? Whos had the same experience as me?

I will do the boxer briefs with jeans but not regluar boxer shorts. They bunch up too much. Your post explains it well. I think I have just one pair of regular boxer shorts now. If I do, they are way down at the bottom of a drawer because I really do not wear them anymore.

Today is another freeballing day with just cotton shorts. Feels sooooo good!

I have to say....I used to wear boxers and Jeans, but that was until I discovered briefs. Much more comfortable....and as you rightly say....no more bunching!!

Thanks for the comment. I guess if someones wearing very baggy jeans it might work but I think thats relatively rare and probably, for obvious reasons, most guys are into regular or tight fit.

For me, knit boxers work better with my Levis denim jeans than broadcloth boxers.
