***** This is not a fantasy or a make-up story*****

I'm not sure whether this post is supposed to be a ranting about my weird new coworker or is about me oddly and grossly sexualizing him.

So this guy, let’s say his name is James, is a new hire and only started working at my company last month. He’s only 26 years old and waaaay too young for me to think of him sexually. Plus he’s straight— he said that he had a girlfriend. So I don’t have a crush on him or anything.

James sits next to me in the office (our workplace), consisting of 3 guys — I’m the only gay guy in the room. He has a skin condition, Xeroderma, where his skin is dry and itchy so he scratches his skin (his whole body) all day. This doesn’t bother me because I know what it’s like to have dry and itchy skin — I don’t have the same problem but my skin becomes very dry and itchy during the winter months, too, despite applying cream regularly on my skin.

What actually bothered me (a bit — at first) is that he would lick his finger (nails) and bite clean his finger nails after scratching his butt. Yup, he does that. As a guy who is a germaphobe and has OCD, I find this rather disgusting.

Until one day I find him scratch his penis (or maybe somewhere around the nether region. Although he’s being discreet about it by sliding his chair under his desk before reaching his hand under his pants and scratching his brother. I mean, it’s not that I keep watching him or keep looking at him but he sits next to me so I see the whole scene. Of course, after scratching he licks his fingers as usual.

Then one day I catch him doing the same again, but this time he seems to get carried away. He reaches his hand under his pants and scratches his downstairs neighbor but this time he keeps his hand there longer after scratching — but not scratching it anymore. I am like disturbed…

But then he starts doing it more and more. And it gets less disturbing each time until I find eyes wandering after his wandering hand under his desk. TBH, I still don’t find him (even more) attractive. I don’t know if I’ve become a perv or something. This has never happened to me before.

How do I stop my eye from following his hand? I don’t want him to think that I’m a pervert.
