Perhaps a bit of an odd one, but I have a question for those of you who have a penis. Do you have any suggestions for preventing wet dreams?

My submissive is only allowed to orgasm with my permission, with orgasm denial and edging being one of the parts of our dynamic. We had previously discussed chastity devices, which is the only thing I can think of so far. Otherwise, what, regular/frequent orgasms are the only other solution?

I don’t have a penis but I did read recently that sleep position could affect how erotic your dreams might be. If your sub sleeps on his belly, perhaps, ask him to sleep on his back or side instead and see if that makes a difference?

Everything You Need To Know About Sleep Orgasms, Because Pleasure Doesn't Need To Stop At Bedtime

Neat! Thank you for sharing. I'm having him read this and hopefully it can help. It's more fun for both of us if he adheres to when I allow him to orgasm, rather than in his sleep!

I'm a stomach sleeper but have had far more wet dreams sleeping on my back than on my side or stomach. As far as pressure goes remember that an erection confined in underwear creates plenty. ;)

My arrangement/relationship with my submissive is still in early stages. I'll have to find out if they sleep nude or not. I did have them read the article that JadedViolet shared. We're trying that for now as far as changing position they sleep in, if they can.

Wet dreams usually happen because the body needs to release an excessive buildup of semen. I had plenty of non-sexual dreams that resulted in nocturnal emissions sans erection or any other indicator of arousal after periods of prolonged abstinence (10 days+). Sometimes I was even stressed about work/study and there was nothing remotely sexual in my life at that time and I still got them. Everyone’s body is different, but in my case, the only effective preventative measure I found was to make sure I ejaculated every week.

To my knowledge they're not something that can really be controlled (at least not to the extent I think you'd prefer) because it's a biological response that isn't always linked to direct stimulation/arousal. As Stu311 said, everyone is different. I have gone for long(ish) periods of absternance and experienced none for the duration, AND I've had the reverse, where I've had several in a relatively short period of time. I've also experienced them just a few hours after a previous ejaculation in the past as well..some during completely non-sexual dreams etc. I think some people are more prone to them than others.

There may be someone more knowledgeable than me that can help, but just thought I would share my experience. An interesting question though!

Penis owner here that went through puberty and knows what a wet dream is (by the way, women can orgasm in dreams too...).

Ever had a hot steamy dream and orgasmed in it? How would you prevent that?

If you are keeping him aroused with orgasm denial, you're doing a pretty good job of setting the stage for a wet dream. The more and consistently you excite him with no relief, the more probable the relief is found during sleep.

I don't have a penis but I do have orgasms in my sleep. Sometimes they're welcum, other times (like these past 2 weeks, and the next two weeks) they're not at all.

I also find it frustrating outside of this particular month when I cum in my sleep and it wakes me up in a way that leaves me energized as fuck. It usually isn't in the morning when I'm ready to get up anyway so I end up laying there trying to fall back asleep but it just doesn't work. I just end up irritated all day when that happens.

I should add, I usually only cum in my sleep when I'm not having regular sex or masturbating, which has been the case this month. It fucking sucks. Toothy blow-job situation. That's what I'm in.

I'm well aware women can have sleep orgasms, thanks... I figured things may be a little different for those with a dick, considering it would easier to get some friction going than with more tucked away genitals as would be more common if you don't have a dick.

I'm also aware of orgasm denial making people horny, go figure. Previous playmates and partners it generally hasn't been an issue, them having wet dreams.

You might be, but not everyone is. You aren't posting this in a women's forum.

I have never had a wet dream so I can’t help you there. Not sure why but it’s never happened.

Well it only happens to men when the balls had overflowing stored semen/sperm so that your body can continue producing. I actually have never had any wet dreams since pandemic (almost 2 years) due to too much wanking and cumming. I remember I wanked 3x a day for like 30 days in a row smh. Currently I'm trying to at least wank once every week.

That may be it. I have always masturbated quite a bit so I don’t really get a lot of build up. But I also don’t precum either so, not sure if that’s related to it at all.

On second thought, you may try prostate massage on him if you keep it reasonably short and firm. Never tried it myself in conjunction with avoiding sex/masturbation to asses if it does indeed reduce wet dream frequency, but I have massaged my prostate and I know that with the right technique you can remove fairly substantial volumes of prostatic liquid, which makes up to one third of semen. If you keep the prostate reasonably well drained every 5-7 days (and you can make it a fairly non-sexual process - do not be too rough so as to hurt his prostate, but be firmer than would otherwise be pleasurable), you should, in theory, reduce the strain on his “pipes” and reduce the physiological need for involuntary ejaculation.

I have had many wet dreams over the years and not just as a horny young guy. Always the same dream and on many occasions I have been woken up as I soak my shorts after a night of sex and cumming. Even older I have the dream and rock hard cock but didn’t shoot

Yup, us guys have to release on a regular basis, so show him some mercy...

Exactly.

There is the potential to do both physical and psychological harm with a scheme which aims to prevent release. It is wrong, just as any other form of abuse is wrong. It should not happen even if the man consents to it.
