Hello there, not trying to offend anyone, but i'm having difficulty understanding how someone can feel that he is a different gender than what was biologically obvious at his/her birth. Im a cis man, and i've never "felt like a man". I,ve just felt like me. if i wanted to hang around with boys i did, if i wanted to hang around girls i did. my parents dressed me like i boy and gave me haircuts and i was aware i was a boy and thats it. ive never "felt" like a boy, or a man, i enjoy and im used to having a penis the same way i enjoy and used to having arms. i can only assume that if i was born with female parts, i would be fine with that and just grow up as a girl.

So, can you help me -the uneducated cis man- grasp what it means to feel like a man or a woman? and what is the difference of wanting to be treated like one. ie: i want to be desired by men, have a super-feminine appearance, appear more fragile, and all those social constructs of the female role, or vise versa; i want to be taken more seriously, i want people to think i'm strong and indipendent, i want people to trust and count on me. etc

if this is an offensive topic please just delete it. no need to ban me.
