Hi there, I want to buy a rabbit vibrator for my girlfriend. What size do rate as best for most girls? She's in early 20s, average sized 10 in body and average I'd say down there too. She's never used a rabbit version before, so not sure what size to get.

I had a chick friend say its better to get something that is as close to me in size as possible. Does that matter at all?

I'm a tad over average size wise and the vibrator I'm looking at is the ivibe original rabbit, which may be wider than me but an inch shorter.

If I'm honest, a part of me would be slightly worried she might get used to something a bigger size than me and not enjoy sex with me as much (being used to something bigger). That's probably more of an insecurity than truth but good to get an opinion.

Sex/foreplay wise I consider myself very considerate and as a result she wants me all the time. Lucky me ;) So i guess I don't want to jeapardise that and although excited about the idea of giving this to her, also almost a tad worried/insecure.

Thanks!

Here are some thoughts:

1. have you asked her what size she would like? I hear communication is key to any relationship

2. the vagina has muscles that can be tightened. I'm sure if you bought her a rabbit that was larger than you she could do kegals , unless she finds it more stimulating than you in which you have bigger problems

3. Once she goes rabbit she will never go back.

4. How would you expect us to know her vagina size?

Thanks. Was going to ask but didn't want to put pressure on it. I didn't want her to sense any insecurity or lack of confidence from me around that sort of thing from me because I know girls don't exactly find that attractive.

Haha I wasn't expecting anyone to magically know her size (that would be a worry). But instead asking in more of a general personal preference / average girl opinion type of way.

I'm not expecting to compete with what it can do. It offers something different and I don't have a vibrating dick, but I know I offer something different / better in many ways. So it's more about whether she will get used to or enjoy the size more.

The size difference isn't much btw, I think it's about 1/2"
circumference wider than me but it spins around probably giving it a wider feeling too.

Thanks for help so far.

dude, for true.. shop for the toy with her.

if she's not up to the toy shop experience there are heaps of non-sketchy/vanilla friendly websites out there. y'all can both look at frisky-aids, from lingerie to satin-kink to the rabbit ya intend to purchase.

size.. well.. the rabbit size isn't really the purchasing drive. is the varied stimulation/sensation the toy delivers. you won't find a rabbit in a massive size, is usually about 4.5" circumference with a 5.5/6" inch insert able length. i know the toy looks huge, but only part is meant to go inside ya lady friend.. the Y where the clit-bunny branches out from the base is the cut off for internal play.

vags are tough, and quite elastic...but there is an end to pleasurable stretch and OUCH!!MOTHERFUCKER!!! smexy-time-toys should be for fun. not stress testing vaginal capacity.

if ya interest in some lady reviews a site search on vibrators/dildos in Women's Issues might be helpful. Ms. Laidey *now Ms. D_Lacy_Drawers* and Ms. Subgirrl *sadly gone from the site* and Ms. Petite *also no longer an active member* have posted some great shopping guides and toy reviews.

maybe find a site selling the toy style ya looking to buy, link it here.. and the womangs/menfolk with womangs friends might be able to give ya some details on performance and customer satisfaction.

I hated the rabbit. Someone said once you go rabbit you will never go back. That is so not true for me.

I LOVE Lelo vibes, honestly. Super expensive but i so love.

The rabbit got way too fucking hot and i broke it after 3 uses.

*raises hand* also a hater of rabbits.
the vibe kind. no the easter/fluffy kind.

me-tooing on love for lelo.
them some awesome smexy toys.

Thanks. Not worried it'll stretch her, more so that she might start to like a bigger size over myself.

Have looked at the lelo range too. What lelo would you both recommend? The Gigi is super cheap at 70aud on one of the sites at the moment so could be tempted to get her both.

Here is a link to the items I'm looking at.
Larger ivibe 5x5"
Ivibe Rabbit Silicone | Rabbit Vibrator by Doc Johnson at Sex Toy Savers

Smaller ivibe 4x4.2"
Ivibe Rabbit Mini Silicone | Rabbit Vibrator by Doc Johnson at Sex Toy Savers

Lelo Gigi
LELO GIGI G-spot vibrator | G-Spot Massager at Sex Toy Savers

Any votes for what to go with?

Thanks

A really great Lelo vibe coupled with a good glass toy either totally frozen or heated either way -- shit freaking A...very good substitute.

I've never used a vibrator on a lover... the idea doesn't do anything for me but I guess that's not the point is it? But I've also never been asked to use one either. Except that time I was dry humping and the phone in my pocket was on silent. Bzzzzzzzzzzz ;P

Ooh the 5 x 5 is one of my favourites!!

Have you tried other rabbits too - how do you find it compares? And what do you think about the ivibe from the size point of view?

Vib Buying Wisdom

Your best bet is to go to your local sex shop and look at some. The most important thing is the "pitch" of the vibration; a high pitch (sort of like a drill, screaming kind of sound) is no good. Those are very shallow, and will probably not do anything for her. You want to look for the deeper, bass-like sounding vibrations - they will usually not run as hard, but they dont have too! Be sure to have the sales personal let you try the vibrations out on the tip of your nose or just hear it, because price range sadly doesnt tell you much about the quality. I've worked in these kinds of stores for quite some time, and eventhough most other aspects are very personal - this "low-pitch" thing seems to be universal for most ladies.

if size is your focus go with a dildo.

vibs are a different species of sex toy.

question.. are ya getting her toys for solo-flights or co-smexy-times?

5x5 is a universally *almost* vag friendly dimension.

I am going to toss in a vote for the Lelo Ina 2 over the rabbit vibes. It does G-spot + clitoral stimulation, has a great shape and size, good battery life, and it is pretty powerful. The Ina 2 is really high quality, like everything else Lelo.

Size would not be my concern when shopping for something like a vibrator. You would do better to devote more attention to shape, vibrations, and material.

One of these, go with the best. Corded, not battery. You can get all of the attachments. Rabbits will be a thing of the past.

the hitachi is great vib, but when you want vibration and insertable...uh, stuff? a nice Lelo works out real well for me.

though the hitachi does have certain attachments you can get but i never liked those. i threw 2 out not too long ago. they were uncomfortable.

something like this

Amazon.com: Golden Triangle Triple Treat Vibrator, Purple: Golden Triangle: Health & Personal Care

is real nice too, just for the fact it has anal as well as vaginal stim (and clit!) -- triple threat!

i don't know anything about that brand though. i had one like this a couple years ago, it eventually broke, and i haven't got another one yet. im thinking that one does look pretty good...

The personal massager has a definite place in the pleasure arsenal, but they are a bit large and clumsy. It's odd to say, but I can look at some sex toys and they turn me on. The massager, despite how much I love it, does not do that for me.

The other point worth highlighting is that you cannot really regulate the vibrations. Something like the magic wand, which is two-speed, roughly correlates to insane and diabolical. If you want something gentle, or a pulse, look elsewhere.

yeah, when i saw this one just now i got that kid in a candy store feeling --

Amazon.com: Velvafeel Silicone 3-stim Vibrator: Health & Personal Care

hubba hubba!

then, i came across this searching amazon for top selling vibes

Silent Pneumatic Turbine Vibrators by VIBCO - Vibrators by Zoro Tools Industrial Supplies

what the...heck?

LOL, all I could think of when I saw the second one was "plumbing supply store"

I tend to favor toys that are organically shaped, pastel colored, and sleek looking. Either that or dead realistic, but that territory seems to be reserved for dildos, not vibes.

Triple Threat = Giger Makes a Sex Toy :biggrin1:

*pets the Velvafeel... considers ordering* ohhh me likey. the curve is perfect. the glans nicely shaped. pretty toy.

industrial model... that is one jaded clitoris *snicker*
