Name 5 reasons it would take for you to move out of the state/province etc etc you live in AND what 5 things would the new state have to have for you to move to it?

1. Not
2. All
3. That
4. Fucking
5. Much

My goal is to ditch my current state. I want to buy, or build, the next place I live. Once funds are secure I bounce.

What I want in a new state?

1. At least 8 acres of land with a water source, preferably a spring head. Or, proximity to moving water. Could be the ocean, could be a river.
2. Reasonable cost of living.
3. Not a polluted fester pocket. Why I will not be going back to my home state.
4. Areas relatively untouched by humans.
5. No anti-pibble laws. Cuz nothing but nobody is gonna fuck with my dogs.

6. Legal weed... I'm willing to break the law, but not having to seems nice.

Without giving specifics which part of the world are you in MickeyLee?

I live in Florida myself. I like it, in spite of all the retirees, snowbirds, and batshit insane behavior. Mainly because of the beach.

1. The population explodes to the point everyone is on top of each other. Could conceivably happen since our state is like Valhalla for northerners.
2. Some new virulent disease is brought here and begins killing people en masse. We seem to be ground zero for new organ-liquifying pathogens.
3. We are gripped by the same strain of fundamentalist retardation as Ohio and Alabama. I don't even want to breath the same air as those crazies.
4. The economy finally shits the bed and work dries up. I'm not built for selling my ass on the street to get by; I'd be unable to even afford a cup of coffee!
5. Alien invasion. Get to the chopper!!!

Five things I'd want in another state?
1. No temps below 30°. I'm not built for ball-freezing climates, thank you.
2. Beaches.
3. Sustainable work with decent pay.
4. No scorpions. I visited a friend in Arizona and saw scores of those damn things on the wall outside his house. Now, Florida might be the mutt's nuts for bugs, but we aren't overrun with those stinging hellspawn.
5. Lots of room between me and the neighbors.

I live in Florida, too. The only good thing about Florida is that it's not Texas. And I'm originally from Texas.

There are too many things to list as reasons to move, but my business and my friends keep me here.

If I could I would either choose a remote cabin in the Smokey Mountains or a private island not in the U.S. We actually did toy with the idea of an island for sale in the Florida Keys, but it's still fucking Florida!

Okay so I'll post mine.

I'm in between VA and SC a lot.

5 reasons for me to move:
1. I really would love a better paying job...something that pays an actual living wage that allows for me to live without work/money stress. I would move to VA permanently if there was a job available that paid enough/cost of living
2. Closer to bigger population centers but not in the center within 1hr.
3. I dislike living in the south...to an almost a hate level. Its hot...almost 97% of the year now. The temps in SC hit Florida temps more often then people know.
4. Lack of variety in food, shopping, things to do.
5. Difference in politics in SC

5 things would the new state have to have for you to move to it?

1) the new state would have to experience the seasons. I want substantial winters
2) a city with mass transit or one within reach.
3) a state that matches up with my politics
4) near mountains or to have a place with a view of the mountains
5) universal healthcare
