Males got to be strong. So when someone makes fun of small dicks, usually other males don't react (people would think they are small, too).
It's basically a consequence of sexism.

Eh I mean...if you're watching MSNBC you gotta realize 70-80% of their male audience are cucks anyways so the small penis thing isnt offensive. If anything its a turn on for em

Spot-on. Thats why I laugh when women say "oh size doesnt matter, its how he uses it lol." In the age of online dating and dick pics, a 7-8 inch guy is gonna get a lot more practice using it than a 4 inch dude. Women hav to say that nonsense to keep appearances up.
I'm glad you know exactly how all women think

My penis is long but it’s not girthy so I get some complaints.. I usually just bring my hands into play to help get her off .

But yea as a man that does frequent Penis enlargement exercises and measuring ect I can tell most of these porn guys and amateur porn dudes are around 8.5-9BPEL.

Yes, and it is the Greeks themselves too that viewed the large as lustful, not the small. And again it is not the women’s perspective we are getting. Its society as a whole who projects and perceives this.

I agree with the 1st part, ie. that the Greeks themselves viewed the large as lustful.

And yes, males are cock size obsessed, far more than women.

The Greek preference for small was "denial" and denigration of what they couldn't have.

I just finished reading a review of some research that made the following point: “The results indicate that heterosexuality is a performance, rather than a natural expression of sexuality, and that interpretations – not just attractions and behavior – are central to being straight.”

Interesting! Never heard that before. Source?

I've always felt that way, but assumed it was because I had a small dick and didn't get the positive feed back larger guys get pretty much automatically.

There's not really any basis for assuming that the ancient Greeks had on average considerably smaller penises than the neighboring barbarians. That's not the best theory for why they had a different ideal of the male form.

The comparison to White Southerners is too perfect. Ya, they got bigger dicks, put we are smarter and have better control of our emotions.

See the research site : SAGE Journals: Your gateway to world-class research journals
Jane Ward’s book would be a great read.

Also see articles in the scroll on the right side of the page. There are many interesting bits of research linked off of the site. One in particular is, “fun with dick and dick” where the term performance is used to describe how gay, straight, and bi men display their dicks.

There's limitations with both extremes. That's what many people don't understand.

Maybe, but there is no shame, humiliation, embarrassment, imasculinization from “limitations” of being big.

I don't understand why we men obsess so much over the size of our dicks? I've never felt compelled to make fun of another man because his dick isn't as big or bigger than mine.

If we'd concern ourselves with satisfying the person we're involved with sexuality our dick size wouldn't be an issue.

Bottom line I'd the odd always going to be someone out there with a bigger dick, nothing we can do about it. Just use what we gave the very best we can. I bet there wouldn't be any complaints from the person you're sexually active with. Just sayin.

This is a very interesting topic to me as a wife of a man with a small penis. My husband is generally very comfortable and confident, but I know he is self conscious about his penis size. I've seen him cringe or react when a joke is made in a movie or on TV. I've never understood why it is ok to say a man in a nice car or such must be trying to compensate for not being well endowed. Very interesting thread here. Thanks for this discussion.
I never understood the psychology behind that as well. So if you have big goals in life, if you like new stuff like fast electric scooters or fast cars you must have a small dick. If you like to wear nice clothes you must have a small dick. That's extremely toxic and homophobic. It's hurtful for a vast majority of guys and I don't understand why is that accepted by a society. Yet when u tell a girl to lose some weight you are literally shit upon (because of health reasons, also she can change that unlike size naturally)

"Compensation" is a well known psychological theory. Competitiveness can result as compensation for a small penis, but there are other things to compensate for and inborn tendencies as well to compete and strive!

It should be culturally unacceptable to make fun of men with small penises, but mandatory to make fun of men with small penises who obsessively seek attention by complaining about it.

But people who want to discuss the issue and increase awareness are often accused of just "complaining" just as other minorities are so targeted.
