I have had this same debate in his brothers thread.

That is an old article that reported the incident when it initially happened, they never made a second article covering the developing story, they never reported the trial, they never reported that the girl confessed to lying, they never reported that he was cleared of all rape charges.

It's disgusting that they allow that article to stay up because people like you innocently google to find out information and that is the first thing that pops up despite it being out of date. The poor guy has been haunted by this event for years.
