Some years ago, some work was being done in summer where I was working, and the water was shut off. A portable toilet had been put outside for employees to use. I hadn't used one in forever and they have a bad reputation, so like a lot of people I wasn't looking forward to it. When I went out to use it on a nice summer's day, I was surprised. It was actually clean and not as bad as I thought it would be. There was a large funnel in the corner that acted as a urinal for guys to piss in. For some strange reason, it seemed like the most natural piss I think I've ever taken. No blasting, obnoxious music and ads that you get in a lot of public restrooms, and it didn't look like something that should be condemned. It was like taking a piss outdoors with no one around for miles. I pissed forever like a racehorse, and it felt damn good. One of those weird things that happen with no rhyme or reason, I guess.
