I was thinking about this a few days ago when I saw a set of 49ers players make a similar statement.

Most NFL Teams have a dedicated room or area for press, though I also get that the press want to get first impression interviews from the players shortly after a game or practice.

I don't remember who from the 49ers said it recently, but, my impression from the player comments was that their issue was not just that a camera could accidentally catch a dick or a butt shot. The team needs to be able to have team time without intrusion from the press. They need some time to decompress and affiliate or support among each other. That includes the freedom to be naked in front of each other and at their lockers, their showers, and the walk back and forth and in between.

I feel like you gotta respect that -- our community I think would understand that situation, right? Players can't have the same post-game locker room bonding experiences when you have strangers and cameras in front of you.
