I was in attendance but too shy to talk to him or "negotiate" anything. We are/ were similar ages had he lived. Generation X. His screen partner here is Jon Vincent and their paring was incendiary. John performed at a very different theater in Times Square called "Show Palace", a far more raucous and free-wheeling environment and significantly seedier. That was completely overwhelming for me.
