Disclaimer: My mother tongue is not English, i’m sorry if the story isn’t stylistically accurate.
This is my first story, I thought it would be cool to share it with you. I’ve read many stories on this site, but most of them didn’t have much background and were too unrealistic. I wanted to produce something different and more serious, it will probably be quite long, so stick with it.
Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think
Hey, I’m Simon, a 19-year-old guy in my first year of college. I got a smooth face and I don’t look my age, everyone still thinks I’m a minor. I’m slightly shorter than the average (5’6”), with a lean build but with a bit of definition.
I’m a shy and introverted guy, but sometimes I can get friendly too. It’s a condition I’ve acquired over time to avoid feeling too lonely at big parties. My extroversion is only apparent: I can exchange a few words with strangers, just enough to spend those few minutes and then change course, but if someone tries to go over, I go into tilt. People have to be patient and take me by the hand to get me to open up a bit.
Same situation for my sexuality. I don’t talk about it often, I’m a very reserved guy and I have to feel comfortable to be able to open up a bit. This insecurity of mine also made me live in the closet for a long time, before I managed to come out, just a year ago. Since then I have been able to be more confident with my sexuality, even though I am still working on it.
After high school, I decided to enroll in a university in a city far from mine. I had been thinking for several years about wanting to change my life, and enrolling in uni seemed like the perfect opportunity to start a new cycle.
After the holidays, I took a train and headed to a new city. I had no experience living alone and hoped to find a house with other roommates. I left a few weeks before the start of classes just to be able to look for a house suitable for me.
When I arrived at the station, I was completely disoriented: I came from a small town, I was not at all used to the hectic life of a capital.
Despite being scared at first, I grabbed my trolley and left the station to head to the hotel, the next day I would have an appointment to visit an apartment with a real estate agent. I decided to get to the hotel on foot. It was a bad choice.
The area around the station, like in every european big city, is not exactly a tourist-friendly zone. It is often frequented by unsavory characters, and it’s easy to become a target.
I started walking quickly towards the center when I saw two guys following me out of the corner of my eye. They looked suspicious. They had probably figured out that I was new in town.
Who knows what they wanted from me. I tried to speed up to lose them without attracting attention, but the pedestrian light in front of me turned red. I was forced to stop. The two guys approached me, and started harassing me. They were laughing.
One of them started kicking some pebbles towards me, while the other raised his foot and put his shoe on my trolley. I tried to move away slowly without reacting. I was afraid that if I struggled, they would harass me even more.
At one point, I saw someone approaching.
He was an enormous guy, easily 6’7" tall, about 21 years old, with a very defined jawline and green eyes. He looked like one of those models from magazines, with a very seductive facial expression. He was wearing very baggy clothes, a hoodie, and loose sweatpants. The lines of his body were indistinguishable.
He had also stopped at the pedestrian light while listening to music and saw the scene out of the corner of his eye.
Without hesitation, he approached me.
“Long time no see! I didn’t recognize you!” he said to me.
He had immediately understood the situation.
Taken by fear, I rushed towards him and hugged him tightly.
“Hey, buddy,” I said instinctively.
The layers of his clothing made it hard to tell what he looked like, but with my arms I felt a tight waist and a broad, muscular chest, definitely well-trained.
The two guys stopped bothering me.
He looked at them and then rhetorically asked me “Do you know them?"
The two guys didn't even wait for my answer and had already walked away after a quick glance. We looked at each other and he smiled.
"Sorry for hugging you earlier, I didn't mean to," I said, embarrassed.
"Don't worry, I understood the situation. The important thing is that they didn't hurt you," he said, smiling.
"Fortunately, I'm fine. Thank you for helping me," I replied.
"Come to think of it, it's been a while since I've had a hug," he joked.
I tried to smile, but a mix of fear and embarrassment made me make a strange grimace.
Five seconds of awkward silence passed. Meanwhile, the traffic light had turned green.
"You're new around here, aren't you?" he suddenly asked me.
I just nodded.
"I'm Lucas, by the way. Nice to meet you." "Simon, nice to meet you too."
"Where are you headed, Simon?" he asked me.
"I just arrived in town for university and I'm looking for a place to stay. I'll be staying at the Hilton Hotel in the meantime," I explained.
"If it makes you feel better, I'll accompany you. I'm on my way home from the gym and I'm headed in that same direction. I can afford a small detour," he said, laughing.
During the ride, we briefly talked about what we were doing in our lives.
When we arrived at the hotel, we swapped numbers and said goodbye.
"Good luck for tomorrow's visit," he said jokingly.
"Thanks, bye!" I replied, smiling.
When I got to my room, I collapsed on the bed. I was exhausted from the day I had just spent.
I barely had the strength to drag myself to the bathroom for a shower.
While I was staring at myself in the mirror, I tried to imagine what Lucas’ body would look like next to mine.
‘He’s so tall, he’s like a mountain!
And his face is gorgeous, like an angel fallen from heaven.’
I thought to myself with a smile
I got into bed, but I had trouble falling asleep because I kept thinking about what had happened. So many thoughts were running through my head:
‘Why did he stop?
Did he really want to help me or did he just feel sorry for me?
Why did he keep talking to me?
Did he like something about me?
Or maybe he was just being nice to me?
I don’t know…’
It all seems so surreal to me… I just arrived in town and I’ve already met an handsome guy…
