The way Aaron is annoyed but downright loves how John knows how to push his buttons. The way John so sexily leans in closer & closer, lingers & lingers. The way they give in to their temptation. My goodness me, these two, just get together properly already (do think Aaron has already gone as he falls in love quickly, John is getting to the point that he realises he actually really likes Aaron)

Aaron visits BFF Mack in the hospital following his incident with a bull last night, with Mack continuing to believe John is to blame. Mack returns home & a showdown occurs, only for Mack’s sister Moira confirming she is to blame. Mack won’t apologise to John regardless, despite Aaron backing his new man (Mack finds out the two slept together in the barn last night)

Despite being to blame, Moria decides to let John go from his farm job so that he & Mack aren’t at loggerheads. And with his van now fixed, John says there’s now nothing stopping him leaving the village…

BFF Mack goes round to Aaron’s to apologise to him & that he won’t interfere in his business. Aaron quickly hurries him out & it’s no wonder why because he’s managed to change John’s mind it seems . The boys are getting closer

Keeping things secret, Charity picking up on Mack’s “bromance” with Aaron, Mack showing a hint of jealousy. Though interestingly, John appears to save Mack’s life in a few weeks with a fire up at the farm. Potential love triangle looming?

Back at Aaron’s place, John says he doesn’t do being domestic whilst doing exactly that. Aaron appears to be becoming even more smitten with his new fella

Aaron asks John to speak to Vic about changing his mind about leaving, one which John considers, teasing Aaron that he’ll miss him too. Aaron denies it (though deep down, clear to see he really doesn’t want John to go). After Aaron claims he only wants one thing from John, they go at it yet again

Aaron continues to deny that he’ll miss John, who confirms he’s got one last day working at the farm. At the pub, John looks disappointed that Aaron doesn’t actually say he’ll miss him. Both now appear to have deep feelings for each other

Considering John is involved in the barn fire next week, possible the boys declare their feelings to each other when he survives it

After helping both Ruby & Moira in the barn fire, John is given a medical check up by Dr Liam for smoke inhalation, but should be ok. He confirms he used to be a medic in the army, something which impresses Aaron, who says John should be rewarded “properly” for his heroics, though John insists he still has to leave the village

Aaron says that John doesn’t seem to take compliments well & asks why he didn’t know he was an army medic. Mack arrives at the pub to thank John for helping Moira, seemingly burying some of the friction between them. Aaron’s thankful it’s not John in the hospital bed, who says he must have somebody looking over him, with Aaron awkwardly saying he’s glad about that. John believes he has no reason to hang around, which gives Aaron the chance to put his heart on the line, insisting he could become that reason

Still a lot of mystique about John, but we now know he’s been an army medic. The dog tag a few weeks back with the name Aidan Moore, looks more likely he was a former lover who he might not have been able to save, hence the “somebody looking out for him”

Emmerdale need to do more passionate kisses involving Aaron like the Brendan/Ste days in hollyoaks.

Robron started off fine but by the end of their run their chemistry was gone. I remember there being a lot of moments between them where they embraced with awkward hugs instead of kisses and at the time I wasn't sure which of them was to blame for the blatant shift but now I'm convinced it's Aaron. He's stiff (in all the wrong ways), pecks like a bird and lacks sex appeal. More than anything though he's a dull character. So dull TPTB had to go and write in another Sugden to carry him
