Thank you for the kind words. It was a fun experience being on the forefront of the solo porn website birth. It was very cool getting to experiment along the way with the different means of interacting with fans like blogs and webcam shows. I was lucky to get into the Pro-Am side of the industry. I would never have made it on the Pro side. My buddy Nash Lawler/Kenny did a lot of work on the Pro side and man the amount of hours they spent on set was insane. 12-16 hours was common. If I had to shoot a scene that lasted more than a couple hours I would be pissed because that meant things weren't going well. I think the biggest difference is that I was directing the majority of my scenes and had a very good relationship with my camera crew so we could make seamless transitions during the scene as opposed to having to to stop and start again. That really cut down on the length of time it would take to shoot a scene. We worked together for so long they kind of just knew from my body language where I was taking the scene next and would just naturally get into position for the correct camera angle.
Nope, Kody nor Dean ever worked outside of Active Duty with Tommy D or anyone else at Next Door.
Wish they would have though, would have been hot.

You are correct sir. One of the things that quickly developed once the internet website boom took off was performers getting signed to contracts restricting them from working with other studios unless there was some kind of cross compensation and even then it was rare for the more famous names to get that option because the exclusivity brought more money to the company that had them under contract. Funny thing is if you look back at the history of porn and average cinema, porn actually has led the way in how things were handled from a financial and contract perspective over the majority of the time. Makes sense when you think about what brings in the bucks. Sex sells, always has. Look to media and their punchline is "if it bleeds it leads" Oh what a whacky world we live in.

I think my site is just rolled up into the NextDoor collection of sites these days since no new content has been added to it since I retired. If you look hard enough you can find a lot of my stuff online for free but we were shooting in the very early days of internet porn and the quality isn't that great but we did the best with what we had to work with. Plus we were a Pro Am studio not a big budget Professional studio so cameras off the shelf from Best Buy it was, lol.
Most of the free scenes I found online were poor (or awful) quality. I assumed those downloaded from the NextDoor site would be better. They were, but not by that much. So 'cameras off the shelf from Best Buy' rings true.
