The guy‘s gotta make a living too! Its apparently his main source of income. I‘m sure he could make a lot more selling his nudes or possibly even getting into porn - but I guess he has morals or something :joy:.

Plus - the longer he „draws it“ out the more hype and tension.... so good commercial thinking... but does it mean that like so many times - people are just going to end up disappointed or negative:scream:

Eitherway it‘ll just be a drawing - so lots of artistic licencing....:kissing_heart:
But here's the thing, I don't even think he is gonna go through with it. I have a feeling he's gonna find a way to get around it by doing some shitty April Fools joke. He seems like the smug little asshole who would do that.

Why wouldn’t he go through with it ?

I mean, it’s just a dick drawing....ANY cartoon dick would do....

He’s gonna do it for sure....he won’t risk losing patreons

You seem very emotionally invested in a cartoonist drawing a peepee.

He’s totally waiting for April to get the money

Does Patreon always bill on the first of the month? What happens if you subscribe in the middle of a month though? Do you just get like... two weeks for free before it bills you?

it charges you for the whole month.
if you signed up today, it'd charge you for the whole month of march, and not just for 2 days. because by becoming a patron you gain access to all the content available for that tier prior to signing up.
same thing goes for increases. if the creator increases their price near the end of the month, you're not just gonna pay that starting the next month, you'll be charged the extra money right away. so let's say you pay $5 a month for your tier and the creator increases that tier's value to $7 on the 30th, you'll be charged $2 right away and then on the 1st you'll get charged $7.
so if he waits until april 1st to post it, everyone will be charged for the whole month of april. which is likely to cause some people to stay, because they already paid for the month, so they might as well enjoy what he might post during april and cancel their subscription at the end of the month

I honestly don't blame him. Get your bag, Adam. It's coronavirus season. Better start saving up now...

Kinda weird at this point. He either does something vaguely April Fools-y and avoids showing the D and people get mad because they paid a dollar to see a cartoon weiner...

...or he lives up to his end of the bargain (which I think he will), but ends up... just drawing porn? Either way it seems a little awkward, unless the penis reveal is inside a really, really funny comic, which, knowing his history as a comic joke writer, is err, not likely.
