Grok2 is now free for all to use. It doesn't allow nudity, but I decided to try. Without any stretching, just asking to see ginger guys in jockstraps (well, it made only thongs, but it's still a partial win, right?), I could easily produce many "usable" images. Only one image was censored by the tool, and I suspect the guy was full-on naked... I upscaled them to see the artifacts easier. My first-look review:
Pros:
* easy to use
* produces output very quickly to a respectful standard
* has a good variety of backgrounds (I put "outdoors", to be generic... and instead of just one type of background which is common on Stable Diffusion models, I was surprised by the different types of outcomes...)
Cons:
* a lot of artefacts
* stubborn outputs (most ginger guys are barely ginger, not one output accepted "wide shot", "head to toe", "full body shot" and similars)
* body types seem rather skewed towards a specific type of dude (that's a common issue, but I feel it is relevant to consider... less skewed models produce much more creative outputs...)
* Seems to ignore blonde and ginger body hair exists
Still to be tested:
* I did this quick test in 10 minutes; more info about how much it can produce is needed
* How far IP content will be allowed in Grok. Public figures have been seen everywhere on Xwitter...
* Other styles/prompt design/detailed input
