My point was that whilst yes they already hate us and have justification to ''eliminate'' the ''lgbt threat'' as a whole, nothing unites the US like an ''attack'' on their nationalist identity (unless initiated by the ''right'' side, apologies for the pun). I'm saying this has give them a cherry on the top to go even further with their hate. I wasnt judging what he did, I did think he was stupid for recording it in the first place, but I never made mention of that opinion prior to this moment.
I dont think he is the first person to have sex in that space. I just think he happens to be the first gay man to be caught and exposed which in this climate it's about to be spun in the worst way against the lgbt community as a whole. I just read a weird 'manifesto', which I wont link, that a frighteningly prominent politician wrote about how the lgbt agenda has now gone too far, they are apparently attacking the idea of America. Judging by the various spelling and gramatical errors, it was quick weirdly emotional charged response to this video.
I just think you're underestimating the gravity of how people will respond to this video. Just like the manifesto and the subsequent and quite substantial agreeing responses with what he wrote. Some people can take this much much further.
