His characters are very objectified and he always has scenes naked so... it's just one step.
He is basically a taller, broader, more muscular version of Ryan Reynolds, minus the depth and acting chops. IMHO. Casting directors will know which version of that archetype they want for a role.
Fun fact he actually has a VERY good singing voice. There are vids out there when he audited for American Idol back in the day.
