This morbid scene has a flaw. To be more morbid the character had to be naked. Of course Peacock is not HBO, but I think it would be more authentic or realistic to have a humiliation like him being naked.

If this was HBO. I can definitely see the scene playing out just like you described here. He would be naked.

HBO, I think, is changing its policy on nudity. There are many comments that its exposure of nudity has been reduced compared to other years. It also produces series where they no longer add nude scenes. It is possible that Starz and Showtime will be more open to continuing with more nudity.

This is actually not surprising because if this was the old HBO. The Dune series would have much more nudity than it currently has on the show, so you may be on to something. The House of the Dragon show has been disappointing in this area as well.

Yes. For example, I got frustrated with HBO because, in the later seasons of Game of Thrones, the amount of explicit content, especially sex, decreased significantly. I was hoping for more intense gay scenes, but characters like Loras were completely underutilized. I even have a theory that the original showrunners from the earlier seasons might have explored more daring dynamics, like Tommen and Margaery’s relationship. It doesn’t seem far-fetched to imagine a scene as shocking as Tommen being assaulted-raped by The Mountain—it would have been bold and fitting within the show’s brutal universe

That said, I was pleasantly surprised by Alessandro’s scene in Those About to Die. I wasn’t expecting any explicit content from the outset, so the threesome scene caught me off guard
