I don’t think Andy is nowhere near as insightful as Capote was in his writings. You could try to argue that his “work” is the entire Housewives franchise… Not sure I buy it.

I also don’t think that Capote was really ever defined by his association with the swans in the cultural imagination, despite what the Ryan Murphy show depicts, whereas Andy’s celebrity is definitely defined by Bravo and his relationships with the ladies.

I'd guess that Nene is bipolar too. And given that she had an unhappy childhood (mommy issues), losing her husband to cancer, and is generally a miserable person to be around, I think she's done surprisingly well in life.

Of course Nene's misery and eccentricity is like catnip to a gay opportunist like Andy. I'm not an Andy-hater, by the way. He's a hustler.
