To be more accurate with the data, 5'8" is actually just an inch shorter (which is nothing really) than the mean American adult male height, which is 5'9", not 5'10". It's also half an inch taller than the world average for adult males. So either way, that height is neither tall nor short statistically. It's just that humans generally include being comfortably taller than their local average height as an integral part of attractiveness for men, especially in modeling & adjacent entertainment jobs and any other job that requires or results in frequent visual media exposure like politics and broadcast journalism. Hence, why TV news anchors & reporters, Presidents and Governors are often over 6ft tall.

Yeah, in short (lol), he's exactly average in height (wait...are we actually even sure of this? Lol, because I've been fooled by photo/video lengths VS in-person and in-hole experiences many times before lmao!) but is too short for what would be that of the "ideal hot stud" or a "great leader" for most people, like Tom Cruise is exactly average in height but is always described as shorter than expected because of the reasons i already stated. So there are actually two separate standards here and both are valid for the purposes they serve. That's the long and short of it all, lmao!! Okay, enough of the pun already. Lol
