I think I also used to think that way looong ago lol. Back when I got more into fashion and stuff and I quickly learned I was very wrong Hahaha. I rmr being totally enamored with Chris F not only because he was gorgeous but because until that point I wasn't sure any gay models existed
.As to why queer/gay/bi models are so rare I think it comes down to population size. The hets outnumber us already in general population and most models just being scouted right off the street, so they tend to be just "regular" guys (who most of whom will be straight ofc) at first and not guys interested in fashion at all.
But that's why I appreciate and celebrate any non-straight model I find because they are like rare diamonds in a sea of other gems lol. I still have like 70+ guys to share so stay tuned folks...
Even though this thread is painfully under-trafficked and not very popular I still think it's a nice thing to sort of catalog as many queer models in one place like this, bc there is no such resource anywhere else.
What street are they being scouted on? The corner of ChicksNotDicks Blvd? LOL yeah I'm not sure many guys got scouted at gyms or clubs tbh. Hahaha
I've heard many a story of guys literally just being approached on a random street by some casting agent. Not sure about current times post pandemic but that was pretty common before.
And of course there were plenty of everyday guys who just signed up for agencies the old fashioned way too. If you're a decently fit, tall handsome guy, even your friends or family will encourage you to try modelling I bet.
