I really dislike anything that's not genuine - so I find photoshopped pics 90% annoying and 10% funny (the latter case when it's too over-the-top or poorly done). There is zero admiration on my part (except if the unaltered original is good).

I suppose it is a low-tech, but effective, solution for the guys whose intelligence is not insulted by the fakery. A question is, "Why is their intelligence not insulted?"
