I subscribed for awhile when it started. He actually tried to post things that were more revealing and sexy, but Instagram monitors those subscriptions closely and kept getting after him about it.

He just had his hair cut about 10 days ago and wrote that he'd been growing it out on purpose, so that he could donate it to that charity that makes hairpieces (prosthetics) from human hair for children who need them. It's called "Locks of Love." He says he does this as a tribute to his deceased brother who was doing this before he was killed by a drunk driver. This was part of an instagram post that he put up on his birthday (December 12), which included a video clip of him getting his hair cut for this purpose.

This year, I am doing a fundraiser for @locksofloveofficial in honor of my birthday. As most of you know (or do now), I cut my long hair yesterday after growing it for the past two years. In memory of my brother, Kevin, I chose to do this because before he was killed by a drunk driver, he was growing out his hair to donate it. Due to the wreck, there was no way to accomplish his goal. So, I am doing it for him with my donation instead. Locks of Love is a nonprofit that provides hairpieces for children FREE OF CHARGE every two years while they are under the age of 21. The recipients are diagnosed with medical hair loss, such as alopecia, trauma, chemotherapy, and burns. My goal is to raise $1250, which covers the cost of the hairpiece, a molding kit, and a temporary wig for the child to wear while they wait for theirs to be made. For my birthday, I want to help a fantastic organization bring back the confidence and sense of self for a young one who is financially disadvantaged by us covering the costs. I’m starting off the fundraiser by donating the first $125! Anything you are able to contribute in honor of my birthday, in memory of my brother, or whatever your reason for donating may be would be greatly appreciated. $1, $5, $20, or whatever amount you are able will go a long way.
