Jeez, you are so right! For me personally, he is one of the hottest men I have ever seen. However, I noticed he blocks almost every man on instagram and also, I just tried to add him as a friend on VK and he INSTANTLY blocked me! within seconds! But his profile is public and I can view it when I log out. He is very strange.

Maybe your are more likely right. From my experience with talking with fit 'straight' and 'gay' men mostly they don't mind the harmless compliment about their physique from other men but they have their boundaries from unwanted explicit sexual compliments, which many times it can be between on the verge of borderline and over the top harrasment. This can make any man especially 'straight' men feeling very uncomfortable.
I get it and am not defending these type of messages as they can be a lil annoying but come on. All that strength and muscles but you going to lose sleep over thirsty DM from men? Then be passionate about blocking just about anyone you suspect is gay or simple males you don't know? Rather extreme and very insecure.
Yeah, that's understandable. The only thing that makes me question his actions is the fact he is supposedly straight but put a lot of effort into getting his ass posted on all the gay instagram pages? I know some girls love guy's asses but guys know when they post ass pics, the gays come flocking! lol, if he was that type of homophobe who is really freaked out by gays he would have never had those online goals in the first place. I wonder if he was bullied by people he knew in real life for the gay comments on his pics etc and thought his life would be easier without that? I'm sure he's Ukrainian, and they're even more homophobic than Russians I've read.
