Why is it weird though? He is like the pimp king just making money from a gay porn/media business. Its just making money. There are lots of gay porn stars that have wives and girlfriends in real life.
In fact, Peter kinda got the better end of the deal given that he doesn’t need to do the deed and is earning from the gay porn industry.

Actually, it kinda makes sense now that the many Asian models that he chooses are not to my liking (I am gay Asian). He is not even gay and the site may be sold to another straight guy so the models that he picks are from a straight guy's perspective. I am just kind of shocked to learn this during pride month because it feels like exploitation.

I do know for example the owner and many performers in Sean Cody are probably straight but they manage to "keep some people gay" and find some really hot guys to have sex with each other, so it's catering to gays. On the other hand, Peter Fever is not comparable to Japanese porn except it is not censored.

I understand both sides. I was in complete shock when I found out too and tbh I don't like the overall idea of what he has done, but I also remembered that so many other straight men is also taking advantage of this community (and most of them are can't even be called Allies).
 
"Taking advantage of this community" is such a lame argument. Nobody is taking advantage of anyone. There is a product niche, someone delivered, and you feel offended because they are "not allies".

This is a constant argument in the porn business, where the jerk off material is never produced under someone's specific expectations or parameters. More than anything, it sounds like entitlement.

Its more of maintaining the fantasy. Some people want to believe that when they are watching gay porn, the actors in it are actually gay or bisexual at least in real life. Like gay4pay isn’t a thing.
I for once don’t really care as long as the guy is hot. But for some people, its a turn off apparently.

I thought the whole point of fantasy was that it doesn't matter what the "reality" is. That just seems counter intuitive to me lol. You just have to imagine the guys are whatever you want in your head. The issue is gays can't leave well enough alone and go digging into the personal lives of porn stars. So, that is their own fault at that point
