To be fair, it's not like there isn't a certain pandemic still going on..
Lockdowns so he cannot travel to photoshoots, gyms might be on lockdown where he is (Dunno where he lives), and he might have caught the 'rona which prevented him from working out.
Or he just grew bored of it and stopped.
