I think you're misunderstanding my point. Straight acting" is a ridiculous phrase that I would never use personally. I think it's silly. Masculinity isn't owned by straight men.

Masculine energy just means exactly that. Someone who comes across more masculine than they do feminine. It's as simple as that. Doesn't have to be an act.

I don't really have a type. I see there's recurrence in people I dated, but I think there's a bias, since a lot of people are gender conforming.
Nowadays it's easier to see hot "masculine girls" or " feminine guys".
