357, Trade and Aarows have just as many "Aussie" guys, and 357 is arguably busier more often and more consistently than Sydney Sauna. It's proximity to Chinatown doesn't mean it's mostly Asian guys, it just means they're more likely to go there. It's also the closes sauna to the inner west, Pyrmont, the rest of the City and Major Public Transport hubs.

Sydney Sauna and 357 are absolutely on par, and, if you ask around, many will have had consistently good (or bad) experiences at each.
Sydney Sauna is the new entrant to the market and relies solely on proximity to the strip and the same good management that makes Melbourne's Wet on Wellington a success. It's clean, generally well maintained and close to the gay scene.

357 is very well established and you can absolutely bank on good numbers Thursday and Friday Lunch and Sunday afternoon. They're so confident they put it on their website. It's also very clean and very well maintained, with staff regularly cleaning and happy to take info on anything that needs fixing.

I've been to, and regularly attend 357 and Sydney Sauna, with occasional visits to trade and arrows.
The latter are definitely not your scene based on what you've written. But I suggest you at least head to 357 on a Sunday afternoon if you want to see another busy sauna with a horny, diverse crowd. You might be surprised at how many "Aussie guys" are there.

Sydney Sauna has inherited the default sauna status for Oxford gays who no longer have the option of Bodyline and that's based on proximity to the strip / district only.

I'd you want to write objectively and give advice to others, I recommend you at least visit other venues before passing off one over the other with comments like "pretty much the go to if you wna meet aussie blokes"

This is a year late but thank you for calling him out. I was cringing at that “high tier” comment. He gloated at swatting old people and asians too and found it hilarious. I know that it was his first time but he could’ve gently turned down unawanted attraction and that would equally work as well.
At some point in his life he’ll find himself as one of thos old lonely people he swats and he will understand how that feels.

Very much considering it though for an upcoming trip in December :)

Could any of you give me some real life experience of how the crowd and action is at 357?
Like the ratio of tops to bottoms?
Can I expect to find hot action fairly easily / fast?
Or is there much endless walking around waiting for heaven-knows-what?

In the end of the day it depends on how good looking you are...Like what most have mentioned, 357 is mostly older White guys and Asians, yes there are other ethnicity and younger guys who frequent there as well, but older White guys and Asians are around 70% of the patrons.
At busy period such as weekends, I believe you can get an action fairly fast.

Sydney sauna on the other hand has predominantly Caucasian patrons of various ages. I have only been there during weekends where it's quite busy and yeah action happens really quick especially if you are hot.

Just went to 357. Was amazing and full. All 280 lockers claimed. Line was 100m out on the street. The quality of the crowd was the best I’ve ever seen at a sauna.
