I actually think it might have more to do with protecting his privacy. I know he appears in public chats so there's an element of giving up his privacy by doing that, however, even those public chats are region restricted so nobody in Australia (where he lives) or England (where he's from) can see them (unless they use a VPN). If those chats are recorded and made available on sites without region restrictions, for everyone to see, that might cause issues for him and be the source of his complaint. Just my guess though.
