I don't remember a lot of cam4 in the 2000s, but i'd say cam4 has gotten worse in the last 6-7 years. I think the turning point was the data breach, in the early 2010s was still great. But that has happened with all the Internet. It isnt funny anymore.

Cam4 lost it after Chaturbate took off. CB is much better organized with a better UI and attracts far more viewers so more popular cammers prefer it. Most nights the top cam on cam4 would not even be in the top 10 on CB
It's not inconsistent with what I'm saying, chaturbate came out in 2011, 4 years after cam4, and didn't surpass cam4 in popularity until 2014-2015. From there, cam4 decreased in quality and since the 2019 data breach it is practically dead
Cam4 was ruined by clique mentality and moderator dramas. That dude Felix who used to mod for Matt Kayd was a fucking loon who actively trolled every other high earning male performer like Firefightpat & LoganChase with alt accounts. Cam4 knew it was him as the evidence was all there but they chose to ignore it incase they lost Matt as a performer. In the end Matt too jumped ship so they made an error not dealing with it previously.
