I’ve always struggled with finding a place that both provides good haircuts and isn’t horribly problematic. There was one barbershop I went to in 2021/2022 where the barber was coughing a ton without a mask on and told he had had COVID the week before. A lot of barbers will do that. If they don't have customers, they will watch other barbers cut. It is an unsettling feeling to have someone staring at you, but I try to engage in conversation to make it less uncomfortable.
I've actually never been to a barber shop before. Raised in a family of mostly females and being gay myself always went to salons. Aside from googling I'm not even sure how ome would find one. I would like to go for the experience. Nothing sexual or waiting for the barber to rub up on me or anything. But shaving is a bitch and is kinda painful.
