Ben cohen (ex rugby player)

Financial problems?
The majority of celebrities/sports stars are terrible with finances even with a team of accountants and financial advisors. Although some of these advisors do end up stealing from them and so not always reliable. Money corrupts all.

That's a very general comment not at all specific to Ben or any news/updates about his financial issues.

Did you not read the articles and what Ben said? Maxed out credit cards, multiple cars, overdrawn bank accounts? Yes, he mismanaged his finances, which is the reason why he is in his current predicament and why I made the comment.

His 2024 net worth is £4.5 million. US he is worth $5.9 million, doesn't seem like a problem 🙄
Net worth ≠ cash on hand. Are you folks reading what Ben has stated in court. The commenters here are not making things up lol.

From Ben:
Former rugby player Ben became emotional during the trial, sharing he is "so overdrawn," and is at the risk of losing everything. I get up every day and I fight not to lose everything to lose my cars and my house and my relationship," the court heard, reports Northamptonshire Telegraph. "I've got credit cards that are overdrawn. I'm overdrawn in both accounts. We have got a business debt because of Covid. It's just another problem."

Yes i literally just read them yesterday after someone here was nice enough to explain it and link an article or two. Ben isn't someone I've stayed current on hence the question jfc lol

That’s fair, but we all referenced the article. Which is why I was confused by the original comment you made to me, hence my response. We are good now though.

I'm very sorry to hear that Ben has finance issues, he's always come across as a decent man when he first came to my notice playing rugby for Northampton Saints and then England. To end your career as the third highest try scorer for the national team is quite a result.
In his younger days he was the fit sportsman and he has matured as we all do, but still looks good at 46.

His support of the gay community was important to many and his anti-bullying work is well recorded.
He's been through a few issues as many men do - which is fair enough.
I hope that he can sort out all his current problems, good luck Ben.
