Hi all,

I've been interested in PE for a while--tried jelqing (with limited, non-permanent gains) and over the last few months, I've done some basic research on pumping. I've got some extra free time right now, and I'd like to buy my first pump (and start my jelq routine up again).

What beginning pump would you all recommend? I did some research into the bathmate models (they seem popular), but I'd like collective input. Anywhere I can order online and provides discreet and fast shipping is a plus too (if that's possible, given current global circumstances).

Thanks!

I've been using pumps for 30+ years and have gained 2.5" in length and about 2.7" in girth. I've never used any of the "wet" pumps. I think the best value for money going right now is the "Essential Comfort" pump sold by Mr. S Leather and others. See

It's only down-side compared to more expensive units is the cylinder material - the plastic is a more brittle styrene type, rather than the thicker stronger cylinders of polypropylene (virtually unbreakable). The stress of pumping won't hurt it, but dropping it on a hard floor would likely crack or shatter it. But the hand-pump is particularly easy to use (even with slippery hands) and it has a gauge (essential for serious pumping). I have 3 others, including 2 electrics, but this one has become my "go to" ... and it costs only $45.

Thanks, @engineer805!

Anyone else have any recommendations? I looked into the MityVac on Matters of Size (but that site seems to be a bit of a scam). I've also done some research on the bathmates, but the reviews seem to say mixed things about wet pumping--and considering the cost of their models, I'd rather start off with something cheaper (like what was suggested above) than drop hundreds of dollars on something that might not do what I want (gains in girth, improved erection quality, gains in length).

Get you a LeLuv cylinder and a hand held vacuum pump and call it a day..............On ebay all day!!
Mac is right. The hand pumps you can buy almost anywhere. Mine is from the local Harbor Freight.
And when you're ready to step up, you can buy a thickwall or something from LAP.

Thanks for the input! I'll check those out! Any advice on sizing?

So, stupid question... This is a DIY thing? I buy the cylinder (of the appropriate size), assemble it with the pump (how?), put it on my dick, and I'm good to go?

Sorry--super new to this. I've been doing a lot of reading, but I haven't found a really helpful guide to getting basic pumping supplies. The resources that I have found seem to want to sell me on super expensive products that (given what you've shared, and what I've read from others) are unnecessary. Others just assume I've found the proper gear and then provide a "Pumping 101" for beginners (helpful, but not useful, if I can't figure out what equipment to get in the first place).

Decided to take the leap and buy this from Ebay

LeLuv Penis Pump EasyOp T-grip Handle Basic Natural Male Enhancement for sale online | eBay

For 11 bucks and free shipping, I'm willing to take the chance. Seems like the best way to try things out?

I'd still like to hear everyone's thoughts, though. Once I get into a routine, I also plan to start a progress journal. I'm furloughed from work and my uni moved everything online, so I don't have much to do in the coming months.

With you being a newbie I would suggest a pump with a gauge. Getting carried away with to much pressure will result in injury

I got this the other day because…quarantine

I highly recommend it. You set a pressure and a cycle period and it automatically does the pressure for you during a 20 min cycle.

That looks awesome... Just a bit too small on the length side.

My pump just came in the mail today. Gonna give that one a try for a few weeks, report back, and if I'm enjoying the experience, invest in a more expensive model.

I ordered from Harbor Freight and highly recommend! It's only about $25.00 and has a gauge. It's been perfect!

The Harbor Freight Brake Bleeder and Vacuum pump is the same pump that some of these penis pump companies sell for $$$.
You can get it for $25.00 and save yourself $40 to $60.

2.Male coupling to attach to the pump -

Quick disconnect male fitting PN 5012K251 $1.42 (This fits the LA Cylinder perfectly).
Some guys were suggesting getting longer tubing. The Harbor Freight pump will come with tubing but it is only about 21 inches long. It was long enough for me to use and just fine and longer tubing was not absolutely necessary. But I ordered extra from www.mcmaster.com just in case.
PN 53955K14 Plastic Quick Disconnect Tube Coupling for Air and Water Plug 1/8" Coupling Size for 3/16” Barbed Tube.
(Abrasion-Resistant PVC/Polyurethane Clear Tubing for Food and Beverage, 3/16" ID, 5/16" OD). The smallest amount you can get is 10 ft. but it is really cheap. Just enter the PN number in the "find" window and search. The items will come up highlighted in yellow and green.

It’s not about the pump because pumps can be bought anywhere

the best pump is bought at a hardware stores it’s called the mityvac pump

now cylinders is where there is variety and complexity

Cylinder brands :
Thickwall
Velseal
LApumps
Ect

I prefer the Velseal models because they’re the most comfortable and built well.... only downside of Velseal is they’re expensive

My ball sack keeps getting sucked up into mine. Any ideas on how to avoid this?
You can buy silicone or latex sheaths that reduce the entrance diameter
