My skin type is rather dry and I’m looking for a product to moisten the skin by not leading to infection around the head.
Any recommendations?

Can't think of any, but if you're using liquid soap, you may want to switch to bars of soap instead, and they are milder and will dry your skin out less. There are even some brands which claim to moisturize you.

Babies' skin are sensitive and dry, so I'd say baby cream shouldn't hurt.
