Considering the types of cast we got before, I’m sure they only wanted to add as much diversity as they were forced to due to CBS casting policy changes. That’s why they cast a gay black guy this season. Two birds one stone in their mind.

You are so right. When I saw the promo shots, my reaction was "meh" and was ready to pass on watching. But the pictures that have been posted on this thread have made me change my mind
