She didn't bully Khaled. He was playing up to the cameras but so was everyone to a point. He's 23 years old. He doesn't need to be infantalised. Ali was the deserving winner for this series.

I honestly can't see any of them doing it.. Khaled might gay bait but I think his background/race makes it a no for full on OF.

In my opinion, one of the worst series/seasons ever. The eye candy, minimum. The drama, meh. There were one or two fun nights but no real stand out “stars”. I was not a fan of Ali on any level, but I was barely a fan of anyone this go ‘round. Hoping CBB is a bit better.

Khaled’s whole media personality is structured around what he thinks you all want to hear to make him look like the good boy. He wants a career in television. Non of us actually know anything about him apart from the surface level so it’s entirely possible he’s smart enough to capitalise on the one redeeming quality he has, his body.

I’m assuming you’re aware that she was one of the only people to stick up for Khaled in the later episodes? Having an opinion on somebody does not make you manipulative. Expressing your opinion does not make you a bully. Disagreeing with someone does not make either person ‘wrong’. And being 23 does not make someone immune.

I second all of this. It’s as if all of Ali’s good moments have been forgotten. I know she isn’t perfect but no one in that house was. Not even Emma.

The only relevance her profession has to this discussion is that she’s actually qualified and experienced in understanding and observing behaviour. Meaning, when you bring her profession into it, it doesn’t serve your point well.

I’ve said this on this thread already but I think that combined with her neurodivergence results in many people just not “getting her” in regards to how she communicates and interacts with others.

You vouch for Emma despite her consistent harsh words about Lily (a 20 year old). I hate to break it to you but this age gap is significantly bigger than the one you seem to have a problem with. (Ali and Khaled).

Exactly. Although Lily irritated the flipping hell out of me, it was still touching and heartwarming in a way that Ali was one of the few (if not the only one) who showed her mercy, and was tolerant to her annoying habits, theft, lack of hygiene and screeching like a banshee. Ali was very sweet to be so lenient to her considering the situation with Lily and her antics.

Sorry for my triple post rant. I just wanted to get that all off my chest, regarding how I feel Ali has been misrepresented by some of those invested in this discussion. Anyway, in other news …
