Black people come in a variety of skin tones, were you born yesterday. The dude is black. He’s not even mixed.
Also, some people identify as Black even though they don't look Black, and then there are some people who totally look Black but they don't identify as Black.

He is Puerto Rican/Latino and DOES NOT LOOK BLACK for godsake. Jesus.
If a person says they are Black, if they identify as being Black that's obviously the identity they chose whether they appear "Black" to you or not. I'm sure if any of these men had a problem with being lumped in with Black men they would speak up and say something like, please delete me from this post because I am NOT Black.

No, that's stupid. Black is someone that looks substantially black African, no mulattos or metizos have lookalikes in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, The Congo... They aren't black, stop the USA-centric nonsense.
Most Africans don't consider themselves as Black, first of all. Also, you cannot dictate to a person what culture they choose to associate with. If a mulatto, a mestizo, a Latino etc. says they are Black, who are you to tell them they are not Black?

I feel like this thread should be rename "Black and Brown Men" honestly...
Deciding which cultural group a person belongs to is that person's personal, individual decision, not yours. Tom Hanks son, Chet, fully identifies as African American. Are you going to corner him and argue him down telling him he is NOT African American? Leave people alone, if they say they're Black let them be Black.

black is not a culture ffs, it's an ancestry, someone of mostly West and Central African ancestry is black.
