I have always had blemishes all over my butt. Sometimes I get these pimple/boil things that seem to stay for weeks. A few bad ones have left these dark spots that almost look like a bruise as well as small red bumps all over, and just a general redness/discoloration.

Does anyone know of any products to help heal/prevent/smooth out and just overall improve the appearance of my butt skin?

That's tough, I use to have that. When I shower I use a luffa to exfoliate. And I found this great product for acne. It really works. When I have a breakout I put on a small amount and it gets rid of the redness fast.

I never tried it but curious to try Brazilian bum bum cream. It's expensive but has good reviews.

You might try using Tea Tree oil. It is relatively inexpensive and has anti microbial properties. Daily after you shower. Just a small amount in the palm of your hand. Run your hands together then rub your butt cheeks. You'll notice a difference in a few days.

I used to suffer from a pimply butt too, but I've found exfoliating in the shower really helps. I use one of those abrasive pads and plenty of gel soap in the shower, and really scrub the skin. Then dry well afterwards using a rough towel. No expensive products needed, though a little non oily shaving balm ( Nivea) does help too.

I exfoliate that area with a sugar scrub to help prevent ingrown hairs. For blemishes or pimples, I use a benzoyl peroxide acne wash like PanOxyl. Affordable and highly recommend.

It's probably folliculitis. Get some Hibicleanse (or generic) at CVS or somewhere and wash your butt and legs with it every day when you shower. It will clear up.
