It may have something to do with his having been sexually assaulted a couple years ago.

In a video a couple weeks ago with Vanity Fair I think, he talks about a time he got off on the wrong train platform, and he asked a guy to help guide him to the right platform.

Instead, the guy took him by the hand, took him to somewhere hidden from public view, and placed it on his dick, and he then repeatedly, and forcibly, groped Tobey's junk.

So, he might be adverse to people objectifying him in graphic terms after an experience like that.

I think the two are separate, though I could see how there is a similarity. He was already quite annoyed (I wouldn't say disgusted or anything, but definitely annoyed) about this thread before anything like that happened.

I spent years believing my father would be a homophobe because he was raped in the service on a night out, but he was actually bi and said that would never make him hate all men - just the one. Fearing that situation or fearing that something like it could happen is far beyond people talking about how nice his ass looks. Some people are pretty graphic, though, so those comments may trigger his new issues. We all like him, so maybe just respectfully talk about how nice his ass is and not describe your fantasies about it since we know he reads this
