That site has been having some issues over the past few days or so.
Your mileage may vary, but in my experience, a reliable indicator of these issues is the preview image that loads before you press the “play” button on a video; if there is no image, the site isn’t working properly, and you might as well just check back later.
Also, if the site is working properly at first then suddenly stops (like…during your viewing session), restarting (not refreshing) your browser will usually help. In this case, the issue seems to begin when you start skipping around a lot instead of just letting the video play normally (or at least using your skips sparingly), and once the issue arises, it won’t resolve on its own.
This is all based on what I’ve seen on a mobile browser (TV Cast for iPad).
