Ikr! Like if he's so against it because he converted to Christianity, why dont he donate the profits to some church or whatever since he's looking for forgiveness

This resentment towards performers is so consistent across LPSG threads that I'm just going to copy and paste this from another one and it'll mostly make sense here too.

Religion has always been a refuge for people with fear, trauma and shame. A lot of major-major pornstars have turned to religion - isn't Rocco Reed a pastor now?

It's not surprising - I think doing onlyfans takes an enormous emotional and psychological toll on people that doesn't get spoken about that much - and there seems to be a constant need for performers to push their boundaries and do things they might not have been comfortable doing at the start of their careers. It's their choice, but it can bring shame. Because the hotter ones make so much money, a lot of subscribers/viewers become resentful to them (you can read it in here on almost every page). The combo must be pretty isolating.

An onlyfans performer killed himself a week ago. He'd had struggles and there were reports of him being a bit unreliable and volatile with people, although there are two-sides to every story and thread posts are a bit one-sided so who really knows. Everyone's an angel in their version of stories. When you scroll through his thread there are some pretty vile comments that people have posted, this thread too.

If his turn to religion does reflect where he is emotionally and psychologically, I'd recommend people in this thread start being a bit kinder and, more empathetic. In the scheme of things, someone no longer getting 1 minute videos to jerk off to is less important than a human being's mental wellbeing, and continued existence on this earth.

I’m sorry but having been scammed by the man by him taking my money for a custom video that he promised he would do but didn’t in the end and then not return my money after numerous messages to him for a refund - I can say that he is not as innocent as says he is.

It’s not a resentment

1. He builds his reputation based on OF and earns money right through it

2. He could have just closed every 18+ platforms and do not acknowledge it but instead, he said how OF ruined himself when he literally capitalized the people who subbed him and ripped him off

Sure, he has been reflecting on this out of Christianity belief
I have no problems on him closing it
But to advertise his testimony on OF being a bad thing after ripping people off

I have no Animosity against him but his action on lambasting OF on that

If you feel very dejected after you had OF contents and committed to religion

I subscribed to his OF, but I only want to follow people who want to be on there. If it was negatively impacting him, then I'm glad he stopped. Sounds bad.

He seems happy and has found a version of himself that's less materialistic. If it took religion to get there - ok - some of us got there without religion and we get to sleep in on Sundays and not annoy our friends.
